Cant run SNES roms on retropie 3.0

Hi all,
Im using rasberi 2, connected to a keyboard and a tv, via hdmi.
The retropie version im using, is the 3.0 image, downloaded from this site, and installed using the instructions provided on this sites wiki.

When im trying to run any SNES rom (which are all stored in zip files, that run fine on some emulator i have on the pc), in getting a black screen for one or two seconds, and then getting thrown back to the roms selection menu.

So far i have tried to use different emulators, and few different screen resolutions. The log file (opened with the nano tool) seems to be empty.

Anything else i might want to check?

In the next incremental release it should be fixed.

thanks for your quick response. i saw similar issues on other threads, and yet – unlike me, they had some data in the log files – i dont.
anyway, ill wait for the next release.

If reinstalling the lr-snes9x-next doesn’t fix it try unzipping your roms. (I always unzip my roms first- minus the arcade based emulators)

turns out i mixed / confused between nes and snes roms :/ Found this out when i unzipped them, as you suggested, and read more about the extensions and the differences between them.
