C64 load times

Hello,

Was is the trick at speeding up the C64 game load times? On my tablet and PC the games load almost instantly and this is done automatically.

In Retropie it loads load an actual tape speed, not good for my bartop.

Any ideas?

A few tricks is to select Warp in the speed section or the other is to turn off true drive emulation but some games need true emulation to load the disk.

If you just want your fav games to load instant then load them using warp and change back to real speed once loaded. Then make a snapshot of the game and load the snap from then on.

Is there a way to have the games listed as their snapshot then, as this will be for a bartop? So I just select a game and it instantly loads by using the snapshot.
