Best lr-ppsspp settings?

I tried both emulators, I like the lr- version better as the standalone is messing with my controllers. Is there a repository of configs to optimize the settings?

What I’m trying to accomplish:

Best video output resolution and best aspect ratio.I think it’s 16:9
Best optimized framerate for all PSP roms.
Any cool overlays like the GBA overlay. That looks so good whoever made it.

unfortunately, I could not find any settings that helped speed in any way.I tried standalone last night and was shocked that it’s a bit faster with no scratchy audio and no long pauses. I prefer lr versions as well but in this case, for the time being, I suggest sticking with the standalone version. The slowdowns have existed for a while and not sure if they’ll ever be fixed. I haven’t seen any comments from devs in here on the issue…

The only game I have tested has been Castlevania. I did not tweak the settings at all and was able to run full speed. Though occasionally the game would pause for a second and then continue. I’m shocked that the Pi 2 can do even that much.
