    I’m planning to upgrade to RetroPie 2.5.0 (beta) for me RPi2 and I’m about to back up my stuff. Obviously I’d want the game data from $HOME, the config from somewhere in /opt/, and the scrapes. I have no idea where the cover art, rating etc are stored though. Any hints?

    from home have you tried:

    ~/.emulationstation/gamelists/

    Within that directory there should be a directory for each system that you have scraped with a gamelist.xml

    That xml file will reference the directory where the box art is stored also.
