So, I recently ordered all the parts to make a Gameboy out of a Raspberry Pi and an Adafruit PiTFT screen (https://www.adafruit.com/product/1601) and I want to use RetroPie instead of the CupCade image they made for it, which only supports NES and MAME. I realise that the PiTFT doesn’t support OpenGL, which most emulators use, but I’m thinking of using FBCP to copy the framebuffer to /dev/fb1. I know this’ll result in slow and choppy gameplay and all, but I don’t really care about that. I just want to play Sega Genesis/Megadrive games along with Atari, Sega Master System, SNES, Gameboy Advance/Color/Original, etc. The problem is, I have no idea how to install/use this. I’m a beginner with this, so any help would be nice, preferably simple step-by-step instructions, if that’s not too much trouble. Thanks in advance!
