    Greetings,

I’ve just started using retropie with emulationstation (sd card image).

I’ve configured one generic controller. Now that it seens to be working as expected, I’m planning to get 2x ps3 wireless controllers and setup retropie/emulationstation to use them.

Since I’ve never setup any ps3 controllers on computer/linux or pi, I just would like to ask the basics:

1- Do I need 2 bluetooth dongles or just one?
2- Is it reliable for using 2x ps3 controllers with retropie? (like turning controller on/off… rebooting?)
3- how to setup the second joystick (i was able to setup one using retropie_setup.sh, but didn’t see any option for second controller)?

    Thanks :)

Sorry for bumping my topic, but I would like to buy 2 wireless ps3 controllers, and I just wouldn’t like to buy them ‘blind’ and discover that they are not good (also never paired those controllers with pc, and not sure if I need 2 bluetooth dongles or just one).

    Anyone using those with retropie?

    Thank you.

This may help a little. Although I really need to get some PS3 controllers to try out.
