    I know that Retropire uses AdvMame and Mame4All, but some games work better in one than another. Is there any way to display one mame in the menu, and choose which Mame plays certain roms?

    I just found out there’s a couple seconds between when you select a game and it fires up that you press “x” and it takes you to a screen where you can choose between lr-mame4all and mame4all, but I think AdvMame is still separate.

    If you want to make a distinction between the two mames you’ll have to edit the emulationstation theme so that each emulator pulls a different image. otherwise they will both show up as the same mame image. (you’ll edit the es_systems.cfg under the theme tag to match a new folder you create in /etc/emulationstation/themes/simple)
