So, I’m rather new to using the Raspberry Pi and Retropie, I was wondering if some of you could answer a question for me. I’m using an original model B, and I want to use this dock in combination with this hard dive to store my ROMs. Will this work? The dock has its own power cable for the hard drive, so I’m not trying to power it through the Pi.

If I could, I’d also like to run a second OS and use it as a media center. Ideally, I would have the operating systems stored on the 8gb SD, and have ROMs, music, and movies stored on the hard drive. If someone could tell me what I can and can’t do, that would be wonderful. :)
