    Hello,
    I was able to configure my joypad from the menu option “RetroPie” and then “CONFIGURE RETROARCH KEYBOARD/JOYSTICK”.
    I copied a number of zip files to folder mame-mame4all.

    I can see the list of mame games and when I click on a mame game it loads normally, but I am not able to start a game in order to play it.
    It shows “Insert coin” and even if I press the key “1” from the keyboard nothing happens. Furthermore pressing any button on the joypad does not have any effect either.

    What do I need to do to play a mame game?

    Press TAB to configure the controls when your game has loaded
