Has the latest version of FBA been complied for RPi2 yet??

.35 works but its much slower than .30 on rpi2.

    https://github.com/libretro/libretro-fba recent mainline 0.2.97.35
I compiled this last week and suffered major slowdowns in CPS2/3 games

https://github.com/libretro/fba-libretro 0.2.97.30 works really well giving a good balance of performance vs relatively new rom sets. its the one retropie uses and i wouldn’t recommend upgrading at the moment.

Ok thanks. whats the deal with hardly any (if any at all) Namco games not being supported by FAB?

What about the native non-libretro FBA that comes on 2.6.0 – the performance seems ok? Or maybe I dont test enough games :)

FBA liberto runs great on rpi2, but you will need to remap the exit+hotkey button on controller or it won’t let you input coin in some games

In FBA Libretro, the Coin input (Select Button) works fine for me on NeoGeo games but not on Capcom ones. Is there something I can add to the config to force it to use select as Coin input? How did you fix it justinbeaird?

What controller are you using? on my Xbox controller I made the hotkey the back button and the big Xbox button in center of controller the exit button+insert coin and it is working fine.

I’m using a logitech dual action.

Basicly just try switching the hotkey button and the exit button in controller config and see if that works

On rpi2, you need to compile https://github.com/libretro/libretro-fba with “make -f makefile.libretro profile=performance” to use a hack on SH-2 emulator (which allow to run CPS3 games at full speed), i mentioned it when i reported my libretro port on this forum. Also i did not experience any slow down on m68k games (CPS,CPS2,Cave,…), you sure about that ? Could you name some games ? You ran retroarch through runcommand.sh to set cpu governor on performance ?
