    Hi all,

    i’m very sad. I’ve updated my RetroPi via the Setup-Script. Now my Vice (C64) doesn’t have anymore any sound :( All other Emulators are running very well. Before I have Updated, my sound was here.

    I Use RetriPie over the RCA Video Out. No HDMI !! Use also the AudioOutPut.
    No game I have Original does output any sound.

    Version of Vice:

    DESCNAME=C64
    NAME=c64
    PATH=/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/c64
    EXTENSION=.crt .CRT .d64 .D64 .g64 .G64 .t64 .T64 .tap .TAP .x64 .X64 .zip .ZIP
    COMMAND=/home/pi/RetroPie/emulators/vice-2.3.dfsg/installdir/bin/x64 %ROM%
    PLATFORMID=40

    mmmhh … I love my C64 and I love RetroPie to use my Old Games in a handy solution.

    Can EveryBody help ?

    THANK!!!

    Andy

    1) installed/updated the whole RetroPie via retropie-setup.
    2) tried several configs
    3) …. many many more

    also tried this:

    -> http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=69420
    -> http://c64.tv/weblog/?p=6

    also tried mono / stereo. installed alsa again.
    all sound in emulatorstation is comeing out. doom works, gbc, gba, gb, …
    tried a new usb hub (active)
    stereo headphone, my stereo maschine in my living room
    a new cable
    ….

    my problem is – I don’t have a HDMI TV!! I must use the Jackout.

    what config listings did you need?

    i don’t know nothing anymore … a very big questionmark over my head.

    hope someone can help.

    thanks

    Andy

    1. Try to update vice.
    exit emulation station with “F4”.
    make a backup of ./emulationstation/es_system.cfg

    cd RetroPie-Setup
    sudo git pull
    sudo ./retroPie_setup.sh
    select source based installation
    select vice, emulation station and (C) Generate config file for Emulation Station
    install

    2. Use an older RetroPie setup script.
    exit emulation station with “F4”.
    make a backup of ./emulationstation/es_system.cfg

    cd RetroPie-Setup
    sudo git pull
    sudo git checkout 19133b676f
    sudo ./retroPie_setup.sh
    select source based installation
    select vice, emulation station and (C) Generate config file for Emulation Station
    install
