I also like to take advantage of the save and load states in emulation, which some people consider cheating. Add the following lines to enable these buttons on your joypad.

input_save_state_btn = “5”
input_load_state_btn = “4”

That works fine for me, I hold down ‘Select’ and ‘L1’ and it saves the State to Slot 0

Trouble is that if I get the combination wrong I could accidently overwrite Slot 0 with a terrible position in a game, so how do you save to other Slots ???
