    Hi all, I have a small laundry-list of tweaks I need to make but can’t find the right place to do so. Any help appreciated!

    -SNES – software tweaks to improve performance? I recall there used to be a way to reduce the audio quality
    -PSX – software tweaks to improve performance?
    -GPSP – is it possible to create a button combination to quit the emulator (rather than using the menu)?
    -Are there any ways to increase the master volume?
    -PSX – How to run IMG or ISO images? I can’t find es_systems.cfg.

    Found one answer:

    Adding:

    audio_volume = 5.0

    to retroarch.cfg enhances volume by a good amount ^^

    testing adjusting audio out-rate to enhance performance.

    audio_out_rate = 44100

    es_systems.cfg should be in /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg

    Overclocking will help with performance but the Pi does struggle a bit with SNES and PSX emulation.

    Get some heat sinks and go turbo. I don’t have many issues now that I’ve done that. However if anyone has gotten Kirby 3 running smoothly, can you share how you did that?

    Thanks Ribenickel, now I can get the PSX emulator to load ISOs ^^

    Thanks everyone else for the advice re overclocking. My memory card tends to corrupt when I overclock, but I’ll back it up and see how far I can go before it fails.

    I’m guessing there’s no answer for GPSP at this stage.

    Thanks all, closing thread.
