I’m hoping someone has had some experience with this.

Recently got a pi3 and I’m in the process of trying to get Kodi up and running, I’ve read that upgrading Kodi to v16 helps with issues regarding kodi reading gamepads and adding it to the emulation station front it.
After reading up about this I learned about a Portuguese distro called ppl ware that adds Kodi to retropie but not as an experimental package, problem is its not in English.

Has anyone had any success installing this distro and are there any good guides to follow as I can’t seem to find any.
