    After installing RetroPie 3.6 adding –gamelist-only doesn’t seem to work anymore. Now all roms are listed regardless of the gamelist.xml files. Anyone who knows what has changed?

    nano /etc/profile.d/10-emulationstation.sh
[ "<code>tty</code>" = "/dev/tty1" ] && emulationstation --gamelist-only

    Edit: Figured out that there was a gamelist.xml hiding in the rom folder. Removing it fixed the issue. :)
