Hello
I m very new in retropie workflow, i ve downloaded the last img for raspberry and try to start EmulationStation.
Yesterday i had an error about Alsa and the splashscreen EmulationStation flashing.
So after a little of google i ve found a solution to configure the /boot/config.txt in the idea than the Alsa error message crashed the emulatorstation. Now i do not have errors messages but always the splashscreen flashing and blocked on it.
The log do not seems to show any problems so i m confuse about how to resolve this bug.
the rapsberry is RASPBERRY PI 2 MODEL BAny help would be appreciate ;)
This the es_log.txt and boot/config.txt files.this the log:

12/20/2015 at 20:54 #112153olivierlarrieuParticipantHello
I ve resolved this trouble with adding more ram to gpu.
I ve not in head exactly what i did but there is a raspberry command line which give use ability to tweak performances.
Here a menu give us the choice to configure gpu memory allocation.
Regards12/20/2015 at 21:32 #112154herbfargusMemberIt’s explained in the documentation:

12/20/2015 at 23:14 #112161joseph10805ParticipantThanks for the help… I went all the way to 256 with no change. Still getting a blinking emulationstation loading screen. I’m trying a fresh install to see if that does the trick.
12/20/2015 at 23:17 #112162olivierlarrieuParticipantDid you reboot after changing memory allocation?
12/20/2015 at 23:36 #112164joseph10805ParticipantI used the internal reboot… I will try to unplug and plug back in once i have backed up my files if you think that would work.
12/20/2015 at 23:40 #112165olivierlarrieuParticipantThis could be a good things, config.txt is loaded only on the boot sequence and hardware allocations too.
I which you this work as you could play with mario in place than tty :D12/21/2015 at 01:04 #112170joseph10805ParticipantI tried it…. no luck.
12/21/2015 at 22:17 #112205joseph10805ParticipantWell…i used a fresh image and got it up and running again. Thanks for the help!
