When emustation starts it detects my usb controller fine. I then go into the menu and configure it. After this it works in the menu and one time in a game.

However, I cannot get it to autoconfigure. Everytime I have to go through the setup process. BTW, the devices is recognised as ‘USB gamepad’ when I press the ‘A’ key to configure it.

I checked the manufacturing and device codes with lsusb and made a corresponding entry in the /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/configs. I used 0x79 0x11 as well as decimal values (121 17) in the config file. The config directory is correctly set in the retroarch.cfg file (default value).

I looked carefully at the wiki and the forums. Some help was there but it looks like all the files mentioned are now in a different location (I updated my retropie on my model 2 pi nov 30, 2015).

I’m a bit lost at the moment….
Any help appreciated.
