I’m running retropie on a RP2 and have successfully started playing with some of my old favorite games. I eventually plan to build a custom box to store the ‘arcade’. I’d like to be able to keep track of scores and levels.

One of my favorites is Pacman. I’ve tried the ROM for VARIOUS pacmans and NONE of them save highscores. I’ve tried atari, NES, SNES. Does pacman just NOT save scores at all? I’ve notice in general that game saving is spotty. I can’t remember far back to when I used to play these games on their original consoles how saving went.
