Hello, I’ve installed retropie 3.0 into a RP2 and it works really well. I’ve started adding Neo Geo roms but I have an issue with having the controller recognized. I use lr-fba-next for emulation and I place ROMS+BIOS into the /roms/neogeo folder. I’ve also placed the BIOS into the /pifba folder under /opt/. However, when I boot up the games, the games run well, but the controller is not recognized at all. If I put ROMS+BIOS into the /roms/fba folder instead, the controller is recognized. How do I fix this?

    Halp plz :-(

P.S. I understand that I could just leave the roms in the fba folder but it looks neither to have the roms boot up from their respective systems :-D

So after digging into the files via filezilla, I managed to figure out the problem. It turns out that the neogeo folder under /opt/retropie/configs/neogeo is missing the retroarch.cfg file that is present under /opt/retropie/configs/fba. This explains the reason why lr-fba-next is able to to have the controller recognized when running a rom from the fba system but not from the neogeo system. Simply replace the file and you should have full controller compatibility. I hope this helps fo ranybody who had this issue.

(it would require reinstalling the emulators to generate the configuration)
