I went digging through the skin layout for the Plex load and i starting going down a rabbit hole I didnt really understand. My thinking is that the shutdown / reboot menu options have to be a script themselfs to send the shutdown / reboot commands in the background. It should be simple enough to add in another menu option to run a script file or chain of commands in the skin layout itself, but thats a bit over my head at the moment.
